Visiedo's inauguration, representing the only United Left mayoralty in the province of Almería, took place during a well-attended plenary session at Turre Town Hall. This appointment comes one year before the next municipal elections, giving him approximately twelve months to implement his proposals and demonstrate his administrative capabilities.
During his speech, the new mayor expressed deep emotion, dedicating words to his family and thanking his fellow councilors for their support. He emphasized his commitment to humility and his desire to learn, presenting himself as "just another neighbor" eager to "work" for his community.
“"My office will be the street."
Before his address, Visiedo received congratulations from the opposition, including former mayor and PSOE spokesperson, María Isabel López, as well as from the outgoing mayor and future government partner, Arturo Grima (PP). Grima, who resigned to fulfill the agreement between the PP and Turre para la Gente, highlighted the sound municipal economy and clear management plan, offering his support to the new mayor.
Party colleagues, such as David Ruiz, also showed their backing, although they regretted the absence of the provincial leadership of United Left at such a significant event. Ruiz encouraged Visiedo to rely on his team for successful governance, expressing confidence in his performance. With this inauguration, Turre begins a new political chapter, solidifying the presence of United Left in the province.
