The fire started at 11:30 AM on July 5. Initial suppression efforts involved 25 professionals, two semi-heavy helicopters, and two fire engines deployed to contain the flames in the affected area.
Following the intervention, Infoca confirmed that the fire was brought under control shortly after 1:00 PM. A team of 14 personnel and one fire engine remained on-site to secure the perimeter.
A fire is technically considered controlled when the entire perimeter is surrounded by a control line, either through a cleared strip of land or previously burned vegetation, even if hot spots may remain within the area.
