The fire, which began on the afternoon of Thursday, July 9th, has been escalated to operational level 2 of the emergency phase due to its evolution and potential. The Minister of Health, Presidency, and Emergencies of the Junta de Andalucía, Antonio Sanz, reported the activation of the INFOCA Plan.
Within the operational framework, 150 personnel are currently working, supported by 5 fire engines, to try and control the flames that have severely impacted the area.
