The Civil Guard academy in Baeza is hosting over 2,800 applicants from the provinces of Ciudad Real, Córdoba, Albacete, and Jaén. Nationally, approximately 27,000 candidates are expected to participate across 20 venues.
This selection process is defined as a competitive examination. The 'merits' phase, already completed, has evaluated professional and academic achievements. These points will be added to those obtained in the 'opposition' phase.
The opposition phase includes several tests: theoretical-practical knowledge (spelling, grammar, general knowledge, and English), psychotechnical tests (intellectual aptitudes and personality tests), and psychophysical aptitude (physical tests, personal interview, and medical examination).
The theoretical-practical knowledge and intellectual aptitude tests were previously conducted at the various venues. Candidates with the highest scores in these initial tests will proceed to the rest of the process.
Selected candidates are scheduled to join the academy to begin their training on October 13th.
