The match between Cádiz CF and Barbate, to be held at the Fernando Romero 'Fernandín' Stadium in Benalup-Casas Viejas, has been rescheduled. The event will now take place on Wednesday, July 15th, at 7:30 PM, instead of the previously planned day before.
This game is part of the twelfth edition of the Diego Fernández Memorial, an event that traditionally marks the start of Cádiz CF's pre-season. The opponent will be Barbate, a team competing in the Primera Andaluza de Cádiz, and will serve to test Cádiz CF, which features many new faces and is in an adaptation phase.
The Diego Fernández Memorial honors the former president of the Peña Cadista Sección Barbate. For the sixth consecutive edition, the match will be played in Benalup-Casas Viejas due to the stadium having natural grass.
The capacity of the Fernando Romero 'Fernandín' Stadium will be limited. Advance tickets are priced at seven euros, while tickets at the stadium's box office on the day of the match will cost eight euros.
Advance ticket sales are available in Benalup-Casas Viejas (café-pub El Sitio) and in Barbate (Barbate CF headquarters at the Municipal Sports Center, Nueva Vida cafeteria, and Leyre grocery store).
The event is organized by Cádiz CF, with the collaboration of the Barbate City Council, the Benalup-Casas Viejas City Council, Barbate CF, the Confederation of Municipalities of La Janda, and the company Gadira.
