The Popular Party has confirmed the approval of the functional plan for the new Barbate health center, an infrastructure that will exceed 4,000 square meters and represents an 11 million euro investment to enhance local healthcare.
Antonio Sanz, the leading candidate for the PP of Cádiz in the regional elections, visited Barbate this Friday to announce the approval of the functional plan for the new health center. This step is crucial for advancing the construction of the new healthcare facilities in the municipality.
“
"The government has taken a definitive step that will mean a real qualitative leap in healthcare in Barbate with a modern, high-capacity infrastructure designed to meet the current and future needs of the population."
The project envisions a center with an area of over 4,000 square meters, which will house 30 family medicine consultations and five pediatric consultations. Additionally, it will include multipurpose consultations and an immediate care area with specific spaces for emergencies, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures. Services such as minor surgery, dentistry, and physiotherapy will also be incorporated, along with an area dedicated to health education and a support unit for social work and nursing.
At the start of the electoral pre-campaign, Antonio Sanz highlighted the work carried out to prepare everything for the health center to become a reality, enabling the tender and execution of the works. He emphasized that this initiative represents a "great commitment and enormous effort to strengthen primary care in Barbate."

Sanz underscored the commitment of Juanma Moreno's government to healthcare, mentioning an investment of over 170 million euros in recent years. Looking ahead to the March 17th elections, the candidate expressed the desire to secure a majority that guarantees stability to continue governing in Andalucía and fulfill their commitments.
