The visit to the capital of the Axarquía is part of a series of events the political leader is conducting throughout the autonomous community. On April 25, starting at 13:00, he will deliver a statement to the media from the Mirador de la Ermita de los Remedios.
This agenda also includes appearances in Cádiz and Ayamonte (Huelva) on Friday, April 24, and will continue the same Saturday afternoon in Almería at 20:00, following his engagement in Vélez-Málaga. This tour aims to strengthen the party's territorial presence in Andalusia and increase its visibility.
The tour comes days after an event held on April 9 in Málaga capital, where the party presented its lead candidates for the eight Andalusian provinces in the upcoming elections. During this event, Antonio Sevilla was confirmed as the candidate for the Málaga province, reprising his role from 2020.
With regional elections scheduled for May 17 just weeks away, the Andalusian political landscape is entering its decisive phase. Current polls suggest that the president of the Junta, Juanma Moreno of the Partido Popular, could be nearing an absolute majority. Meanwhile, the political formation seeks to consolidate its electoral base and maintain its parliamentary representation, which currently stands at 14 deputies.
