The Andalusian 112 Health Emergency Service received a report around 7:30 PM alerting them that two swimmers had been found dead on Los Lindes beach. Responding health personnel could only confirm the passing of both individuals. The primary hypothesis suggests drowning, a fact that will be confirmed by the autopsy.
Health professionals, the Civil Guard, and local police were dispatched to the scene. The bodies remained on the beach awaiting the arrival of the judicial delegation for the removal of the deceased. The Civil Guard has taken charge of the investigation to clarify the exact circumstances surrounding the deaths.
The bodies will be transferred to the Institute of Legal Medicine (IML) in Malaga for autopsy. This incident occurs shortly after a man's body was found last month on Huelin beach in Malaga city, in an area where a person had been missing at sea since April 29th.
The bathing season on Malaga's beaches began on June 15th and will extend until September 15th. During this period, municipal ordinances regulating beach use and enjoyment are in effect, including restrictions on activities such as fishing, with fines of up to 3,000 euros for non-compliance.
