The new children's playground in La Noria, Nerja, is now open. This family leisure space, designed to be functional, accessible, and attractive, represents a total investment of 113,439 euros, fully funded by municipal resources.
The Councilor for Municipal Services, María del Carmen López, highlighted that the City Council continues to promote the Municipal Plan for the Improvement of Children's Parks. The new space is located on a 3,000 square meter plot, and its development included the installation of play equipment and landscaping.
During the current term, the Nerja City Council has modernized other children's parks, such as those in Maro, Pediatra Carlos Gallego (next to Avenida de Pescia), Verano Azul (which underwent comprehensive remodeling), and the one located on Calle Zurbarán.
María del Carmen López announced that improvements and renovations of play equipment will soon take place at the children's park on Calle Antonio Ferrandis «Chanquete», next to IES El Chaparil, continuing the municipal commitment to enhancing the town's children's leisure spaces.
