The agreement, which follows a proposal agreed upon by a specific Working Group, regulates the use of these fishing facilities. This group included councilors for Fishing and Beaches, spokespersons from the Municipal Groups, and representatives of the beach's fishing community.
The decision also involves requesting the corresponding authorization for the occupation of the boatyard from the Territorial Delegation of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries, and Sustainable Development of Malaga.
The Councilor for Fisheries, Daniel Rivas, explained that after several meetings, a list of users has been agreed upon, prioritizing those linked to fishing activities. In total, the use of the sixteen existing huts has been authorized, with one reserved for the City Council's Municipal Services.
Rivas thanked the fishing community representatives for their involvement and collaboration throughout the process. He emphasized that this agreement organizes the use of the huts and boats according to agreed-upon criteria, ensuring proper management of the space.
