Seven students from the province of Jaén, from EP Sagrada Familia and IES La Pandera, have qualified for the national final of Young Business Talents, to be held on April 17 in Madrid.

These young people from Jaén will be part of the Andalusian delegation, the largest in the country with 69 participants, in a competition that will bring together 340 students from 78 educational centers across Spain. All of them aspire to win the title of “best virtual entrepreneur in the country” after successfully completing a selection process that began in November with over 11,000 students.
The presence of these two centers from Jaén in the national final highlights their commitment to innovative educational methodologies. Both EP Sagrada Familia in Villanueva del Arzobispo and IES La Pandera in Los Villares have integrated business simulators to introduce their students to the business world, replicating real market situations.
The competition, organized by ABANCA and Praxis MMT, challenges students to manage a virtual company in the food sector, specializing in dairy products. During the final, participants will need to make strategic decisions in key areas such as marketing, finance, and human resources, simulating the operation of a company in a highly competitive environment.
The main objective is to achieve maximum profitability and position their company as the most competitive in the simulated environment. Beyond the competitive aspect, this experience represents a valuable opportunity for the young people of the province, allowing them to develop essential skills such as teamwork, critical analysis, and decision-making, capabilities highly sought after in today's professional field.
Although Jaén's representation is smaller compared to other Andalusian provinces like Málaga or Córdoba, the qualification of these two centers underscores the talent and preparation of students from Jaén. The event in Madrid will be the stage where these students will demonstrate everything they have learned, placing Jaén on the national map of youth entrepreneurship, regardless of the final outcome.
