The official report, provided by the Department of University, Research and Innovation of the Regional Government of Andalusia, places the UJA ahead of other academic institutions such as the University of Almería, the University of Cádiz, the University of Huelva, and the Pablo de Olavide University. In total, the Andalusian university system processed 35,064 applications before the deadline on June 26.
Within the academic offerings in Jaén, the master's degree in General Health Psychology stands out as the most requested, with 867 applications. This trend mirrors the regional landscape, where this same degree leads student preferences with nearly 7,950 applications across the entire region.
Interest in teacher training is notably prominent in the UJA results. Following the health-related master's, applicants showed a clear preference for programs such as Bilingual Education and Integrated Learning of Content and Foreign Languages, Didactics of Language and Literature, and various specializations within the Teacher Training master's degree.
The seat allocation process will begin on July 22. Educational authorities remind students that the preferences indicated in the application are binding, and advise consulting the available offerings through the Andalusian Single District portal.
