The interventions, which are almost complete with only the final painting remaining, have included the installation of fencing in the entrance garden and the construction of a wall on the sports court. These measures aim to provide a safer environment for the youngest children at the school.
Additionally, the area known as the Patio de Olivos has been fenced, and the entrance canopy in the staff parking area has been remodeled, removing an old structure that was a priority for removal. The access gate to this parking lot has also been renovated, now including a ramp to improve accessibility.
“"This is not done randomly: both the Maintenance and Education departments work in coordination with the management teams and educational communities, who are the ones who know the daily demands and needs."
A municipal spokesperson emphasized that attention to educational centers is carried out in a coordinated manner, assessing their needs and establishing a sustained program over time. The objective is to ensure an essential public service for the citizens of Jaén.
The school's parent-teacher association has expressed satisfaction with the improvements, noting that the new image of the center makes it more attractive for families choosing Cazabán for their children's education. This positive impact is already reflected in the recovery of an additional Early Childhood Education line.
