The Delegate of Educational Development, Francisco José Solano, has overseen the start of repair works at IES Juan López Morillas in Jódar, Jaén, following damage caused by the storm in late January and early February.

The main action focuses on dismantling and completely renovating the pitched tile roof of the building housing the Agricultural training cycle classrooms, which was the most affected area. Additionally, damaged false ceiling panels inside these classrooms will be replaced due to humidity.
The works also include intervention on one of the flat roofs of the extension building, where deteriorated photovoltaic panels will be replaced. Furthermore, the replacement of various elements of the rainwater collection system, such as gutters and downspouts, is planned for several areas of the educational center.
The total budget allocated for these works amounts to 44,067.48 euros. This investment will significantly improve the safety and functionality of the facilities at IES Juan López Morillas, ensuring a suitable environment for the educational community.
