The first participation update for the Andalusian Parliament elections, released at 11:30 AM, shows a drop in Jaén compared to the 2022 elections. 15.62% of the provincial electorate has already exercised their right to vote, amounting to 76,393 people. At the same time in the previous elections, the figure was 16.97%, with 86,322 residents of Jaén having gone to the polls.
The decrease in the province of Jaén is 1.35 percentage points, a slightly higher drop than that registered across Andalusia as a whole.
Regionally, turnout stands at 15.09%, with 956,567 votes cast by 11:30 AM. In the 2022 election day, at the same hour, 985,053 votes were counted, representing 15.44%. The decrease at the Andalusian level is 0.35 points.
