The presentation ceremony took place in the assembly hall of the Brotherhoods Association of Jaén, where the creation by local painter Juan Carlos Hidalgo García was revealed. The piece combines oil on wood panel with gold leaf, silver leaf, and acrylic, offering a work of significant artistic and devotional value.
The composition is notable for its three-dimensional structure, with arches and the letters of the title 'GLORIAS' emerging with volume, creating a striking visual impact. At the center, Saint Catherine is depicted in princess attire, evoking her processional image, wearing the Jaén medal at her waist, and carrying her traditional attributes: the wheel and the sword of martyrdom—symbols of strength and faith—and the palm, representing victory and fidelity to the Christian faith.
“"The Castle of Santa Catalina rises behind the central figure, dominating the city of Jaén from above, transformed into a symbol of «our own sacred peak, as if in Jaén we had our own Sinai»."
The arches crowning the poster replicate those of the castle itself, with a blue arch evoking the starry sky of its sanctuary and two stars referring to that sacred firmament. Above, a gold leaf arch elevates the scene to a plane of glory, resurrection, and divinity. Two Byzantine-inspired angels accompany Saint Catherine, following the tradition that narrates her ascent to Mount Sinai, while the year 2026 is inscribed at the bottom alongside the banner with the name of Jaén.
