This initiative seeks to enhance urban mobility, facilitating access to the city center and reducing traffic congestion. The measure will allow drivers to know in advance about available spaces in public car parks, helping them make quicker decisions and avoid unnecessary travel.
The project involves the renovation and expansion of nearly fifty information posts. New panels will be installed at strategic access and circulation points, as well as updated signage on main urban roads and some secondary routes. These devices will offer detailed information on parking location and capacity.
The tender includes the acquisition and installation of vertical signage with directional indications, proximity information, and availability. Materials must be durable, weather-resistant, and highly visible both day and night, maintaining a homogeneous design in compliance with current regulations.
With this strategy, the City Council aims to provide a more efficient, sustainable, and adapted mobility service to the current needs of citizens. It is expected that improved parking information will contribute to reducing congestion in the urban center and lowering pollutant emissions generated by drivers searching for parking.
The deadline for submitting bids is May 11 at 11:59 PM, and submissions must be made exclusively electronically. The installation, configuration, and implementation of the new signage and LED panels must be completed within a maximum period of one month from the contract signing.
