The Urban Planning Department has greenlit the intervention, aimed at facilitating entry for emergency vehicles and addressing a historic request from local residents. The unanimous approval of the expediente by the Municipal Historical Heritage Technical Commission, with archaeological monitoring conditions, allows the project designed by the Urban Maintenance Area to move forward.
The councilors for Urban Planning, África Colomo, and Urban Maintenance, Javier Padorno, informed the neighborhood association of the development. According to Padorno, the project has Heritage approval and the required financial allocation, enabling an "imminent" tender.
The councilors visited the neighborhood to announce the upcoming tender and oversee ongoing maintenance. Following a recent meeting with residents, improvements have been made post-winter, including cleaning and installing drains, adding and repairing public lighting points, installing new manholes in the San Patricio parking lot, and tree pruning.
The president of the neighborhood association, Juan Torres, expressed gratitude for the City Council's work and the constructive dialogue with the Maintenance councilor, noting that the neighborhood's needs are being addressed following recent site visits.
