La Alameda Park, an emblematic location in Jaén, served as the perfect venue for this musical event. Its natural setting, known for enhancing acoustics, provided an ideal backdrop for a meticulously curated program that blended nature with lyricism.
The musical journey encompassed a wide array of genres, from traditional Spanish pasodobles to zarzuela excerpts. Notable pieces included the chotis from La del Manojo de Rosas by Sorozábal and the iconic pasacalle Los Nardos from Las Leandras. The afternoon also featured waltzes and marches, concluding brilliantly with the pasodoble El Dos de Mayo by Francisco Chueca, which received a warm ovation from the attending public.
Through this performance, the Jaén Municipal Band not only welcomed the spring season but also reaffirmed its prestige and crucial role as a musical benchmark in the city, strengthening its bond with the people of Jaén.
