The works, with an investment of 1.5 million euros, are in an advanced stage. The new parking area, located opposite the El Portazgo restaurant, will have 175 spaces and is expected to be operational during August, including areas for larger vehicles.
In parallel, the intervention on the riverbed has allowed for the installation of the metal structure for the walkways. Work will continue shortly with the placement of wooden decking and railings, after overcoming delays caused by adverse weather conditions in recent months.
The municipal plan aims for a comprehensive recovery of the natural space, integrating it into the city's green belt. Following this phase, additional actions coordinated with the Confederation Hidrográfica del Guadalquivir are planned, along with the development of a fourth stage funded through EDIL funds.
