The proposal for 2026 includes five benchmark festivals, more than 300 national and international artists, and aims to surpass the accumulated 70,000 attendees from previous editions. The musical calendar will kick off on July 2nd with BluesCazorla in Cazorla, followed by Un mar de canciones in Torreperogil from July 9th to 11th. Etnosur will return to Alcalá la Real from July 16th to 19th, while Vértigo Estival will take place in Martos on July 24th and 25th. The program concludes with ImaginaFunk in Pozo Alcón on July 31st and August 1st.
The Deputy of Promotion and Tourism, Francisco Javier Lozano, highlighted Jaén's proximity to Madrid, just a three-hour drive by highway, as a key factor in attracting visitors during July weekends. "With Jaén en Julio, we showcase a different side of Jaén through musical events that highlight its beauty and encourage exploring new experiences in our destination," stated Lozano, who also congratulated the festival directors and the involved municipalities for their commitment to music and culture.
The presentation event at Café Berlín in Madrid was attended by representatives from travel agencies and the media, as well as local authorities such as the mayors of Pozo Alcón, Iván Raúl Cruz; of Cazorla, José Luis Olivares; and of Torreperogil, José Ruiz, along with the Councilor for Culture and Tourism of Alcalá la Real, José Manuel Marchal, and the festival directors. The group Atomic Lemons performed live, and attendees had the opportunity to taste extra virgin olive oils from Jaén Selección and products bearing the Degusta Jaén seal.
