The mayor of Jaén, Julio Millán, has positively assessed the 2026 Holy Week celebrations in the city, noting the absence of serious incidents and the large number of visitors who enjoyed a hospitable atmosphere.

Millán emphasized the welcoming capacity of the capital of Jaén, which received thousands of people from various parts of Andalusia and the rest of Spain. Both tourists and residents contributed to creating a climate of coexistence that strengthened Jaén's image as a destination.
The security operation implemented during the celebration functioned effectively, with no notable incidents reported that affected the development of the processions. The mayor only mentioned a few traffic accidents and minor situations, which did not overshadow the festivities.

He also acknowledged the essential role of the music bands in each processional outing.
Finally, the mayor expressed his gratitude to the public services involved in the special operation, including Civil Protection, Firefighters, Local Police, and the cleaning service, whose coordination and involvement were crucial for the success of Holy Week.
