The campaign kick-off in Jaén featured the screening of the documentary Salud no responde (Health Does Not Respond), a choice that underscores concerns about the state of public healthcare in Andalucía. This event set the tone for a proposal positioning itself as an alternative to traditional bipartisanship.
The leading candidate for Jaén addressed the impact of the healthcare crisis, sharing testimonies about diagnostic delays, endless waiting lists, and the uncertainty faced by patients. During his speech, he criticized the management of Andalusian public services by the major parties over recent decades.
“"The ballot for change in Jaén is the one that says Stop Biogás."
Beyond healthcare, the event also served to denounce the historical neglect of the province of Jaén regarding infrastructure. Pending projects such as the tram, railway connections, and university funding were mentioned, arguing that the province has not received the attention it deserves.
A central pillar of the candidacy is its strong opposition to biogas plants. The candidate warned about the negative impact of these industrial macro-projects on the territory, the environment, and the quality of life of residents. He highlighted collaborative work with citizen platforms, which has included submitting administrative allegations and initiatives to the Prosecutor's Office and the Ombudsman.
