This modernization is part of a person-centered care model, structured into coexistence units to offer a more personalized and higher quality service to users.
The territorial delegate for Social Inclusion, Youth, Families and Equality, Ángela Hidalgo, visited the facilities to supervise the progress of the works. During her tour, she was accompanied by representatives of the managing entity, the Fundación Nuestra Señora de los Dolores, which operates under the support of the Macrosad group.
The renovation project will be carried out in three phases, culminating in the total increase of places. Additionally, as part of this new residential approach, the Home Recovery and Transition Unit (UTRH) will be incorporated, designed to facilitate the transition of patients from hospital discharge to their return home, addressing a crucial need in senior care.
