The Vox representative in Jaén has stated that the former Finance Minister, now a national minister, was responsible for a period of «ruin and misery» in Andalusia. According to the candidate, this public figure's management was characterized by «waste» and the denial of funds to the region, particularly to Jaén, in favor of other communities.
“"Here in Andalusia, our memory is still intact. We know what Ms. Montero did when she was the Finance Minister for the ERE cases. And now as a minister, a former minister until recently, a person who has only brought waste. Here in Andalusia, she brought ruin, she brought misery."
In the context of the election campaign, the Vox candidate underscores his party's importance in shaping the next Andalusian government. He is confident that his party will be decisive, as it has been in other autonomous communities, in implementing its policies and addressing citizens' problems.
Regarding the situation of the agricultural sector in Jaén, the candidate advocates for «national priority» and criticizes the reliance on foreign labor, arguing that the sector needs to be more profitable to attract local workers. He also addresses European bureaucracy and unfair competition, which he believes are stifling farmers.
Finally, the Vox representative in Jaén has insisted that his party will demand the fulfillment of historical promises for the province, such as the construction of the City of Justice and the Health City, as well as improvements to key infrastructure. He also expressed concern about the rise in crime in the province.
