The sixth edition of the open-air painting exhibition Balcón&Arte Mágina is in its final days at the Provincial Palace of the Diputación in Jaén capital. The exhibition, open until tomorrow, June 7th, displays a total of 79 works created by participants from 18 municipalities in the Sierra Mágina region.
An initiative by the ADR of Sierra Mágina, with the collaboration of the Diputación de Jaén and Caja Rural de Jaén, it transforms the walls and balconies of the provincial building into an open-air canvas. The artistic creations reflect the diversity of the region, encompassing landscapes, culture, gastronomy, monuments, and agricultural activities, with contributions from artists aged between 4 and 83 years.
Following its presentation in the provincial capital, the Balcón&Arte Mágina exhibition will embark on a tour through the 18 municipalities that make up the region. The squares and streets of these towns will become open-air exhibition spaces. The tour will commence in Larva and is scheduled to conclude in Arbuniel next October.
