The selection process organized by Emtusa, Huelva's Municipal Urban Transport Company, to establish a driver-collector employment pool has become controversial. Several candidates have filed complaints questioning the transparency and guarantees of the psychometric test conducted on May 30th.
The main grievance centers on a significant portion of the test questions matching those from a previous exam for a different professional category within Emtusa. Applicants contend that the correct answers from that prior test had been previously published on the municipal company's website, potentially compromising equal opportunities.
Affected parties also question the exam's content relevance to the advertised position and raise doubts about the test's organization and execution. Furthermore, they criticize the scoring and results publication system, as the online test did not provide participants with a copy of their recorded answers, and some detected discrepancies with the feedback received.
In light of this situation, candidates are demanding the annulment of the psychometric test, a provisional suspension of the selection process, and a repeat of the exam with a completely new questionnaire tailored to the specific duties of a driver-collector. They also request access to documentation to clarify the doubts that have arisen.
The City Council, for its part, has responded that it is "an open process organized by an external company and conducted with all guarantees," and that any claims can be made within the established procedures.
The Socialist Municipal Group has submitted a question for the June 26th plenary session, seeking information from the governing team on actions taken or planned to clarify the reported events and ensure adherence to the principles of equality, merit, and capacity in public employment access.
