Preparations for the Carmen Pilgrimage in Mazagón have gained momentum following the recent unveiling of the official poster, created by Sergio Díaz, and the proclamation delivered by one of this year's stewardship members.
The event, held at the Chapel of the Sacred Heart of Mary of Picacho, was imbued with deep sentiment and rootedness. During the ceremony, emphasis was placed on the great devotion of Mazagón residents to the Virgen del Carmen, as well as the remembrance of the area's first settlers and their love for this land.
The poster, received with a warm ovation from attendees, stands out for its artistic strength and its ability to reflect the seafaring and pilgrimage essence of this devotion.
The proclamation, for its part, moved those present, who, alongside the speaker, recalled shared experiences, traditions, and the identity of this pilgrimage festival that Mazagón is preparing to experience intensely.
