The AJE Huelva 2026 Awards gala, a crucial event for the business development of the province, took place in the auditorium of the Faculty of Business and Tourism of La Merced. This annual event highlights the talent, innovation, and commitment of young entrepreneurs under 41 years old, establishing itself as a benchmark in the entrepreneurial landscape of Huelva.
During the ceremony, four main recognitions were awarded: the Business Trajectory Award, the Entrepreneurial Initiative Award, and two runner-up prizes in each category. This year's edition was marked by the diversity of the projects presented, ranging from technology and digitalization to tradition and new business models.
The Business Trajectory Award was given to Informaticasa, a company founded in 2007 in the Sierra de Aracena and led by Omar Guzmán. This company has achieved remarkable evolution, moving from a rural environment to become a comprehensive IT solutions provider with over 5,000 clients nationally and internationally. With a team of 18 professionals, Informaticasa stands out for its wide range of services, including software, telecommunications, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, digital marketing, and training, as well as its commitment to the digital transformation of SMEs and public entities. Its sustained growth, innovation, and expansion, along with its commitment to local development and talent retention in rural areas, position it as a technological benchmark.
Meanwhile, the Entrepreneurial Initiative Award went to David Calabrés' Online Guitar School. This project, which emerged during the pandemic, has grown into a profitable and scalable online school, with over 600 students and a community of more than 400,000 subscribers on YouTube. Its value proposition focuses on offering structured musical training with personalized student support, breaking away from the traditional passive online course model through learning paths, live classes, and an active community. The initiative stands out for its educational and social impact by democratizing access to musical learning, and for its clear future growth potential.
The runner-up prizes were awarded to Lito Cofrade, in the Business Trajectory category, a project by Juan Jesús Feria and Jesús Coronado specializing in products and services for brotherhoods, fraternities, and parishes. The runner-up prize for Entrepreneurial Initiative went to Sabor de Origen: Sierra del Rey, by Adriá, Ana, and María Delgado, which focuses on the production and commercialization of artisanal Iberian products in the Sierra de Huelva, combining tradition, quality, and digitalization.
The high quality of the nominations was a highlight of this edition, reflecting the diversity, innovation, and potential of young entrepreneurship in the province. The awards received support from the Provincial Council of Huelva, the Caja Rural del Sur Foundation, the University of Huelva, and the Employment Service (SOIPEA) of the University of Huelva, among other local institutions and companies.
The award winners will represent Huelva in the upcoming AJE Andalucía Awards, whose regional phase will be held on July 2 in Córdoba, bringing Huelva's talent to the regional level. With these awards, AJE Huelva reaffirms its mission to promote, highlight, and recognize those who are building the economic future of the province.
