The firefighting efforts for the wildfire affecting the Arroyo Pasadera area, within the municipality of Lucena del Puerto (Huelva), have concluded successfully. The Infoca Plan has confirmed the fire's extinction after several days of work.
Aerial images of the fire showed its scale in the area, characterized by its dry vegetation and terrain, which initially complicated control efforts. The rapid intervention of emergency teams and the absence of strong winds in recent hours were key to its complete eradication.
This incident adds to other outbreaks that have required the intervention of the Andalusian forest fire prevention device in the province of Huelva in recent weeks, highlighting the importance of prevention and surveillance during the highest risk months.
