The Celestino Mutis Botanical Park in La Rábida will once again be the focal point of the 'La Rábida in Spring 2026' initiative, presenting a program of free activities centered on well-being, art, and nature during weekends from April 11 to May 17.

The Huelva Provincial Council has unveiled the 'La Rábida in Spring 2026' program, an initiative by the La Rábida Management Unit (UGR) aimed at establishing the Celestino Mutis Botanical Park as a key venue for leisure, learning, and social interaction. The presentation event was attended by Juan Daniel Romero, deputy of the UGR; Agustín Medina, director of the UGR; and the activity coordinators, Marta Martín, head of the 'Crecer en La Rábida' program, and Carlos Dovao, coordinator of Art and Nature.

"This is a completely free program, designed so that everyone who wishes can participate, enjoy, and continue to grow personally and artistically in a unique environment."

Juan Daniel Romero · Deputy of the UGR
Romero praised the work of the La Rábida Management Unit team, led by Agustín Medina, for making a consolidated and high-quality program possible. He emphasized that Celestino Mutis Park, a "unique green space that acts as the lung of La Rábida," is the ideal setting for activities specifically targeting families.
For her part, Marta Martín explained that the 'Crecer en La Rábida' program focuses on well-being and personal development through contact with nature, offering families a space to "cultivate well-being and build community in a privileged environment." The agenda includes a collective meditation for peace on April 11, a session on financial tranquility on the 18th, and a day dedicated to rhythm and well-being on April 25, with activities continuing throughout May.
Additionally, Martín announced that artists Wild Welva and Josema López Vidal are the creators of the graphic designs for the 'Crecer en La Rábida' poster, inspired by plant and flower species from Celestino Mutis Park itself, thereby strengthening the connection between art and the natural surroundings.
