The municipality of Encinas Reales is preparing for its XVI 'Noche Encandilada' on August 29th, a magical evening where the electric lighting will be turned off to give prominence to the light of candles and fire shows.

This established event in the province of Córdoba, aimed at promoting energy saving, will have the support of the Provincial Council of Córdoba through the Special Programs of the Department of Culture. The Delegate of Culture, Gabriel Duque, highlighted the significant activity generated by this event in the southern municipality.
The mayor of the town, Gabriel Prieto, expressed pride in reaching the sixteenth edition, thanking institutional support. Meanwhile, the Councilor for Culture, Inmaculada Núñez, detailed that the night transforms the streets into a magical space, surrounded by music and art, valuing the heritage, traditions, and community participation.
The program will begin the night before, on August 28th, with children's workshops and performances by Dj Candy and the local group Los Tumbaos at the open-air theater.
On the 29th, at 9:30 PM, on Pozo Cruz street, children's workshops with neon paints and glitter will start. At 10:15 PM, the electric lights will be turned off, commencing a fire show and the performance by the batucada group Arte Samba, which will tour the town's streets and squares with several stops. At 11:00 PM, the central stage will host Music Loves Dance.
The night will continue with fire performances in the Church Park and at the Calvary Hermitage. The electric lights will be turned back on at 12:15 AM, and as a grand finale, Dj Castro and the cover band Dr Diablo will perform at the open-air theater.
