The town in Huelva's Andévalo region will transform this Saturday into a cultural hub with the celebration of the second edition of Buguifest. The event, held at the municipal park, promises a full day of free activities from midday until late night, combining music, art, gastronomy, and traditions.
Buguifest's offering stands out for its diversity, featuring a lineup ranging from the beatboxing of Pablo Cartoy, a four-time Spanish champion, to performances of flamenco, cumbia, electronic music, and traditional percussion. Simultaneously, attendees can participate in the curious olive pit spitting competition or explore an artisan market.
The day will kick off with a street parade by the Charanga Al Compás. Throughout the day, the main stage will host artists such as Pablo Cartoy, Ebla y Luca Donati, Campo Abierto, Rafunky, Kinkitrónico, La Cumbia del Pelícano, Alvarode, and DJ Revo. The Escuela de Tamborileros Los Bravo will represent the region's cultural identity.
The festival will also include a flamenco cajon session led by Pepote Percusión, dance workshops, a live mural intervention by Virginia Bersabé, and a craft beer tasting by Folks Bier. The olive pit spitting competition is shaping up to be one of the most original and anticipated activities.
The Buguimercado will offer artisan products, natural cosmetics, book and plant exchanges, and sustainable initiatives, promoting responsible consumption. The food court will feature tapas, cured meats, cheeses, pizzas, and baguettes at popular prices.
Buguifest is conceived as an intergenerational event, with a specific program for children including water games, face painting, creative workshops, and a gymkhana, ensuring a safe and participatory environment for the whole family.
