The province of Huelva is bracing for a weekend marked by intense heat, with the activation of a yellow alert for high temperatures in several of its regions.

The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) has activated a yellow alert in the province of Huelva, affecting the areas of Andévalo, Condado, and the coastline. The alert will be in effect between 1:00 PM and 8:00 PM.
On Thursday, maximum temperatures are forecast to reach 38 degrees Celsius in Andévalo and Condado, and 37 degrees Celsius on the coast. The day will be characterized by clear skies, with a decrease in minimum temperatures and an increase in maximums. Winds will be light to moderate from the northwest, with intervals of southwest wind in the southern part of the province in the afternoon.
The forecast for tomorrow indicates an increase in heat, with maximums potentially reaching 39 degrees Celsius in Condado and Andévalo, and between 37 and 38 degrees Celsius on the coast. The yellow alert will remain active in these same areas between 1:00 PM and 8:00 PM. Skies will be clear, with temperatures slightly rising and winds similar to the previous day.
On Saturday, a similar weather situation is expected, with mostly clear skies. In the Mediterranean coast, intervals of low clouds and mist may appear, with the possibility of fog banks. In the eastern inland mountains, daytime cloud development is predicted, with occasional thunderstorms possible in the afternoon. Temperatures will remain unchanged, although maximums could locally rise on the Mediterranean slope, again approaching 39 degrees Celsius in Condado and Andévalo.
On Sunday, the weather will continue to be similar. Intervals of low clouds and mist will prevail on the Mediterranean coast, with the possibility of fog banks. In the eastern inland mountains, daytime cloud development could bring occasional thunderstorms in the afternoon. Maximum temperatures will see a slight decrease on the Atlantic slope, settling around 38 degrees Celsius in Condado and 32 degrees Celsius in coastal areas such as Isla Cristina.
From next week onwards, a slight drop in maximum temperatures is expected, settling around 36 degrees Celsius.
