The municipality of Aljaraque, in Huelva, is preparing to celebrate its 75th Patron Saint Festivals from August 13 to 16, with a program combining tradition and novelties.

The streets and squares of Aljaraque will be filled with proposals for all ages during four days of celebration. The musical program will feature artists such as La Unión and TAM TAM GO, as well as a tribute to El Canto del Loco.
In addition to music, the festivals will include the traditional procession, popular games, children's activities, sports, orchestras, a large paella, and the refreshing water festival. As a novelty, this year a new entrance arch for the fairground will be unveiled, and a ‘Children’s Day’ will be held with reduced-price attractions.
One of the most notable initiatives is the implementation of an hour without music or sound effects on the attractions, from 9:30 PM to 10:30 PM each day. This measure is designed to facilitate the enjoyment of the fairground for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or noise hypersensitivity.
The festivities will officially begin on Thursday, August 13, with a flamenco show starring Rocío Fernández and Paco Cruzado, followed by the election of the Festival Queen and the lighting ceremony. The day will include Youth Night and the concert ‘Lo Más Flow’, as well as recreational activities for children and a veterans' football match.
On Friday, August 14, the day will kick off with the horse and ribbon race and the greased pole contest. In the evening, the municipal tent will host the orchestra Blanco y Negro, followed by the highly anticipated concert by La Unión. Plaza El Santo will offer DJ sets to extend the party.
Saturday, August 15, will be marked by religious tradition with the Holy Mass and the procession of the patron saint. The night will be filled with music with the orchestra Blanco y Negro and the concert by TAM TAM GO at the municipal tent. Plaza El Santo will again feature DJ sets, and a large hot chocolate with a band will be offered.
The farewell on Sunday, August 16, will include the traditional large paella at noon in Plaza Siesta, accompanied by the band Al Unísono. In the afternoon, there will be a children's gala with the show ‘Magicmanía’ by Raúl Lepe and a DJ set. The tribute concert to El Canto del Loco will provide the musical finale, followed by a fireworks display.
