The urban intervention will focus on the initial section of Arquitecto Sedano Arce Street, Río Odiel Street, and their connections with Santísimo Cristo del Amor, Francisco Jiménez, and Mazagón Streets. The scope of action covers 1,744.60 square meters, where the space will be reorganized to improve pedestrian routes and allow access for emergency vehicles.
Among the improvements, linear garden beds will be redefined, and a new pedestrian crossing will be created on Mazagón Street, near the Tartesos Early Childhood and Primary Education Center. Additionally, existing infrastructure networks, including sewerage, water supply, and conduits for electricity and communications, along with their domestic connections, will be renewed.
“"These works will not only modernize this neighborhood, pedestrianizing an area, but also, with the sanitation actions to be undertaken there, will solve flooding problems."
The project also includes the installation of new urban furniture and an automatic irrigation system for landscaped areas. Regarding the paving, 118 square meters of flooring will be replaced on the front of Mazagón Street, completing the perimeter of the block. The objective is to reclassify underutilized spaces in the neighborhood and improve access, continuing previous actions in other sections of Arquitecto Sedano Arce Street.
