Malaga's Local Police have praised the exemplary civic behavior of two young university students, aged 19 and 21, who returned a wallet containing over 1,300 euros in cash and various documents. The students, originally from Ardales but currently pursuing their studies in the Costa del Sol capital, found the item on a street and immediately handed it over to the authorities.
Inside the wallet, officers discovered 1,332.50 euros in banknotes, along with a debit card, driving license, and the owner's healthcare card. Following the necessary procedures, the wallet was returned to its rightful owner, who expressed his gratitude for the young women's actions.
The owner explained to the police that the money was intended to cover the repair costs of his work van, which belongs to a company specializing in care for people with disabilities. This act of honesty highlights the importance of civic responsibility.
