Among the featured works is Birds of the Alhambra, an informative journey through the monument's ornithological richness, including 80 species fact sheets and interactive resources such as QR codes to listen to bird songs. This publication emphasizes the role of the Nasrid hydraulic system as a backbone for the site's ecosystems.
Another presentation is Alhambra in Feminine: Spaces and Places, which recovers the memory of women linked to the monument throughout history, from figures of power to workers and artists. The book proposes an itinerary that highlights their contributions and their ability to transcend the roles of their time.
Finally, Abstract Beauty is presented, exploring the symbolic and aesthetic dimension of the Alhambra, analyzing the integration of geometry, calligraphy, and vegetal decoration in Nasrid architecture. The work highlights how the monumental complex embodies universal concepts such as unity and symmetry.
“"The publications offer an informative journey through the monument's ornithological richness, recover the memory of women linked to the Alhambra, and delve into its symbolic and aesthetic dimension."
In addition to these literary presentations, the Board of the Alhambra and Generalife has its own stand at the Granada Book Fair, located at the Fuente de las Batallas, to engage with the public.
