The talk, titled Una vida al filo (A Life on the Edge), will take place at 7:30 PM and complements the photographic exhibition El mundo en el fin del mundo (The World at the End of the World), displayed at the Caja Rural Granada Central Services Exhibition Hall until May 16.
This exhibition, featuring nearly fifty images, offers a unique perspective of the planet, contrasting landscapes before and after human impact. Álvaro's photographic archive exceeds one million snapshots captured in diverse locations such as the Himalayas, Patagonia, and the Poles.
“"The Caja Rural Granada Foundation was established in 2003 to support the cultural, educational, and social development of the thousands of people who participate in its activities each year and to help those with less access to resources."
The Caja Rural Granada Foundation, established in 2003, annually allocates 24% of its funds to cultural initiatives. This social work aims to promote access to culture and support communities at risk of social exclusion, returning to society part of the benefits generated by Caja Rural Granada's financial activity.
Among the foundation's own projects are the Acústicos Solidarios, Caja a Escena, Caja de Música, Mayores en Sinfonía, Ecodías, Corazón Rural, and the Academia de Música Fundación Caja Rural Granada series. Additionally, it collaborates with cultural institutions such as the Granada Book Fair, the International Music and Dance Festival, the Young Filmmakers Festival, the Jazz Festival, and the Tango Festival, strengthening Granada's bid for the European Capital of Culture in 2031.
