The political group argues that the current location at Humilladero forces users, particularly the elderly or those with reduced mobility, to walk up to 400 meters to reach the city center. According to the socialists, this situation limits transfer options to other urban lines.
The group has questioned the arguments put forward by the local government, which justified maintaining the current stop citing heritage and environmental protection concerns near the Basilica of the Virgen de las Angustias. The socialists point out that the S2 line travels along the same route without similar restrictions being applied.
The PSOE has announced it will bring this issue to the next mobility commission of the council. The goal is to obtain technical explanations regarding public transport management and ensure that residents of areas such as Carretera de la Sierra and Bola de Oro regain direct connectivity to the historic center.
