During an inter-parliamentary meeting held this Monday, the party's public officials highlighted the need to correct the investment deficit that the province has allegedly been suffering. The meeting served to establish a roadmap focused on defending local interests in the absence of updated national accounts.
Key priorities include improving AVE high-speed rail frequencies and reactivating the feasibility study for the Guadix-Baza-Lorca train line. This infrastructure project is supported by various institutions, the University of Granada, and business and railway associations.
Additionally, the party described the execution of the Rules water channels as essential. This project is considered vital to secure the future of the agricultural sector on the Costa Tropical, an area that has been waiting for a definitive response from the central government for years.
At the regional level, the party contrasted the national situation with the institutional stability offered by the Government of Andalusia. They noted that regional budgets allow for progress on strategic projects, a planning approach they demand be applied at the national level to foster new opportunities in the province.
