The incident occurred on Tuesday morning in the La Chana neighborhood, when pellet projectiles, allegedly fired from an air rifle at a long distance, penetrated a school window and hit two students.
Officials from the Virgen de la Consolación school have reported that, despite the incident, the current situation at the center is «normal». The affected students, one with a facial injury and another with a back injury, have already returned to their classes without serious harm, and the school environment remains calm.

The National Police, whose Prevention and Reaction Unit agents were the first to respond, confirmed that an on-site inspection was conducted. This inspection revealed no shell casings, as the pellets disintegrate with the gunpowder itself.
The investigation has been transferred to the Specialized Homicide Group. As of now, no arrests have been made, and inquiries are ongoing to determine the exact circumstances of the event and identify those responsible.
