The match for the Trofeo Ciudad de Granada between Granada CF and Real Betis Balompié has kicked off at the Estadio Nuevo Los Cármenes. The home team, playing in their second kit, aims to test their progress against a strong opponent.
The first significant chance came in the 13th minute when Owen put Granada CF ahead with a powerful header from a free-kick taken by Pedro Alemañ, beating Diego Conde at the near post.
Real Betis attempted to respond, and in the 25th minute, Raúl Lizoain made a crucial double save. He first punched away a dangerous cross from Ángel Ortiz aimed at Roro Riquelme, and then had to make a save from a header by Corralejo.
Earlier, in the 5th minute, Lizoain had already shown his agility with an excellent reaction save to stop a low shot from Petit, following a cross from Ángel Ortiz.
