The initiative, which broke attendance records since its inception in 2019, featured a 5.091-meter course through the Centro and Sur districts of the city, proceeding without incident.
The festive day also included a display of police resources, with the participation of the Canine Guides and the Air Services Unit with its drones.
The profits obtained from this initiative will be entirely allocated to the Asociación por la Sonrisa de Elenita.
Numerous civil, military, and police authorities, as well as representatives from collaborating companies and institutions, attended the trophy ceremony. Awards were given to the top three finishers in the overall male and female categories, as well as the top three national police officers. A special mention was given to the largest club or group, and all child participants received a 'finisher' medal.
