These operations, carried out in various towns across the province, led to the resolution of 87 outstanding warrants. Specifically, 70 arrests were made in Granada capital, 10 in Motril, and 3 in Baza.
The operation is part of the routine work of the National Police, in collaboration with both Spanish and foreign judicial authorities, aimed at locating individuals with open legal cases or prison entry orders who were fugitives from justice.
In Granada capital, 72 national warrants were canceled, in addition to one international and one police warrant. In Motril and Baza, all resolved warrants corresponded to national procedures.
The majority of the warrants were related to the alleged commission of crimes against property and socioeconomic order, especially aggravated robbery, theft, and fraud.
However, among those arrested were also individuals sought for other offenses, such as gender violence or driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, highlighting the diverse reasons behind these police actions. Following their arrest, all individuals were placed at the disposal of the competent authorities, in compliance with current judicial and police orders.
This type of operation strengthens coordination between police forces and courts, both within Spain and internationally, with the primary objective of ensuring compliance with the law and preventing impunity for individuals sought by justice.
