María Jesús Montero, the PSOE candidate for the presidency of the Junta de Andalucía, visited the Church of Santa María de la Alhambra in Granada this Holy Saturday, where she observed the sole processional float of the day.

The former minister went to the brotherhood's temple, which was preparing for its penitential procession, to admire the image before the virgin's departure towards the Cathedral at 5:00 PM. This event is part of a series of Holy Week visits the politician has made across various Andalusian towns.
During her visit to Granada, Montero was accompanied by other members of her party, including the city's former mayor, Paco Cuenca. The candidate's presence during Granada's Holy Week is part of a tour that has already taken her to Seville and Jerez, with a clear electoral focus following Juanma Moreno's announcement of regional elections for May.
