The incident took place around 3:50 AM when the trailer derailed on a section of the highway. Several drivers alerted the 112 emergency service about the event and the possibility of injured individuals.

Upon receiving the alert, 112 dispatched firefighters, the Guardia Civil, medical services, and road maintenance personnel. Once on site, firefighters worked to extricate the driver, who was trapped by his legs inside the cabin.

The injured man was transported to Neurotraumatology in Granada for medical attention. As of now, no information regarding his condition has been released. The accident necessitated the closure of the left lane of the A92 between kilometers 250.8 and 251.6, within the municipal area of Víznar, causing heavy traffic in the area during the early morning, which normalized throughout the day.
