The Guardia Civil has confirmed the arrest of a 32-year-old individual in Alomartes, a town within the municipality of Íllora, Granada. He is accused of violent robbery and intimidation, assault on a minor, threats, three counts of assault on other individuals, and three counts of property damage.
The events unfolded on the afternoon of April 7 at a commercial establishment in Alomartes. The alleged assailant entered the premises, assaulted a minor customer, and stole their belongings. Furthermore, he threatened both the minor and the accompanying family member.
Subsequently, the detainee caused damage to the shop's display window and the entrance door, injuring two customers who were hit by glass fragments. He also assaulted the owner of the establishment. Outside, he used a stick to smash all the windows of his own vehicle parked at the door and broke a decorative planter next to a religious image near the shop.
After receiving an alert via the Central Operativa de Servicios (COS), a patrol from the Citizen Security Unit of the Granada Command (Usecic) was dispatched to the scene. Officers verified the damage and the victims' injuries, who then filed formal complaints. The Guardia Civil conducted the necessary investigations to gather data for clarifying the events and locating the alleged perpetrator.
Ultimately, the man was located at his home and handed over to the Civil and Instruction Section of the Loja Guard Court of First Instance.
