The National Police in Granada have successfully apprehended a 40-year-old individual in the city's North district, who is believed to be responsible for a forceful robbery at the entrance of a residential building. The incident involved breaking the glass of the entrance door to gain access to the property.
According to the police investigation, the detainee, along with another person, stole 22 new sliding windows. The arrested individual had previous records for similar offenses. The police operation has led to the identification of both perpetrators, although the second person involved has not yet been located.
The investigation began after a complaint from the president of a neighborhood community, who reported that unknown individuals had entered the building's portal during the early hours, taking windows from various floors. The estimated value of the stolen items exceeds 4,000 euros.
The Provincial Judicial Police Brigade used technical and audiovisual means to identify the two individuals involved. Days later, officers from the same unit identified and arrested one of the suspects on the street in the North district. The detainee has been handed over to judicial authorities, while the search for his accomplice continues.
