The organization has expressed deep concern over the inability to guarantee effective judicial protection. According to their report, the social jurisdiction is particularly affected, impacting critical cases such as dismissals, wage claims, and Social Security benefits.
This situation forces workers and companies to wait at least three years to obtain a judicial resolution. Legal professionals warn that this backlog creates uncertainty for citizens and causes direct harm to lawyers, who face significant delays in receiving their fees until cases are concluded.
“"A situation that generates frustration and uncertainty for litigants and, in many cases, unmerited reputational damage to the professional collective."
The institution emphasizes that this is a structural problem, exacerbated by poor planning in judicial reforms and ongoing technical issues. Consequently, they are calling for an immediate reinforcement of judges, magistrates, and administrative staff, alongside improvements in material and technical resources across the province of Granada.
